    Popular Patient's QuestionsAnswered

If you don’t see your question answered here, please don’t hesitate to contact our Pittsfield or Great Barrington office. Our team is happy to answer any questions and address any concerns before your child’s first visit with our pediatric dentist.

If you’re a new patient, we’re excited to welcome your family to Yarmosky Pediatric Dentistry. We recommend scheduling your child’s first dental visit by their first birthday to establish a dental home and start building healthy habits early.

Scheduling your child’s next cleaning or follow-up appointment is easy! Give us a call during office hours, and our front desk team (Carolyn, Sharon, or Nevada) will help you find a convenient time.

    • Routine exams and cleanings are typically scheduled after school hours
    • Treatment appointments (fillings, extractions, etc.) are usually scheduled in mornings and early afternoons
    • Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
    • We request that children arrive on time for their appointments

If your child is experiencing a dental emergency outside of office hours, please call our office number and follow the prompts for emergency care instructions. Our pediatric dentist team is here to help when your child needs urgent dental care.

    Common Dental Emergencies:

    • Knocked-out tooth
    • Severe toothache
    • Broken or chipped tooth
    • Facial swelling
    • Injury to gums or mouth
